Think slim and lose weight
The power of the mind is a powerful thing and if you are determined to lose weight you should harness it’s power to help you achieve permanent weight loss, just think slim and you will lose weight.
If it was easy to be slim then we all would be, but even when we want to lose weight we sometimes unconsciously sabotage ourselves.
I think the first thing you need is a goal and a clear think slim plan. By a goal I mean one where you get your ideal weight, a time frame to meet it and a plan of how you are going to get there. Know what obstacles you may meet and have a strategy to overcome them.
One strategy I have heard of lately that came out of the UK is to visualize your last meal. Write it down and think about what it was, try and recall how it tasted. They believe that in tests this helped many people eat less. Try it yourself!
Another think slim tactic is to believe that you can achieve your goal and know you are strong enough to reach it. Having confidence in yourself is very important.
Know the triggers that make you eat and avoid them or have a plan to follow to minimize the effects. if you reach for the gummy bears when you get stressed then make sure they are an individual pack size and not a large bag. You are not depriving yourself but still going towards your goal.
Try self hypnosis to help you recondition any negative thoughts and beliefs you have. There are some great self hypnosis tapes out there especially from The Unexplainable Store. Start with an affirmation relating to your goal, get comfortable and then listen to your tape relaxing your muscles as you listen. Picture your self living your life as a slim person.
Also change old habits by making new ones. If you used to reward yourself with food then change that habit to something non food related like clothes, books or even a plant or something you like to collect.
I hope some of these strategies can help you think slim and achieve it quickly.
